Y'all are living the life! No victimhood. Please don't pretend to be victims. I have followed you since i was a voice major in college in the early 2000's and i completely disagree that gays are victims in 2024. The world is in our hands, yet there are so many humans resentful at our silence during the madness of the past few years of delusional gender speech. I am so completely in arms with my straight friends against this nonsense that hurts the straight community because I'm not an a*hole! Please dont be unaware of your expressed privilege of being two dads in a community that supports you.

Love you two, and I've actually been following you, Sam, for a lot longer than I've been with my husband. My husband and i have been together 14 yrs. Us gays are being targeted because we let silliness run a mock. Not myself, but i get it. We need to stand up for truth, and only truth. Not ideological nonsense that only serves young rebelliousness

I am like the opposite-never was innocent about pregnancy. This probably stems from a strong academic background in biology and genetics. There’s always the possibility of loss on my mind, and in therapy I work to try and be happy during pregnancy-I am happy, but also very cautious. I told close friends and family I was pregnant at 4 weeks because I worried about miscarriage even then and wanted a support system. But, thank you, Helen, for sharing your story. Not enough women do, so the rest of us are kind of left in the dark about it. My heart really goes out to you. I cried more than once watching this. There’s nothing you could have done to change the outcome. My personal opinion with chemical pregnancies is that at that point, the child’s quality of life is so severely compromised the body automatically aborts the zygote because it will not survive. Mutations naturally occur during cellular division, which is great for evolution, but oftentimes mutations are more harmful than helpful, and dividing cells have mechanisms in place to detect harmful mutations so that they self-abort. It’s all random chance or probabilities. This is all a wonderful thing nature has created to ensure the survival of our species. I know a lot of moms who miscarried in public restrooms, whose unborn zygotes or fetuses were flushed down a toilet in shock and grief, and just not knowing what to do. I’m glad you were able to capture some of your baby’s remains to honor and remember them. Best of luck to your next pregnancy! Most moms I know, even my own, who had miscarriages, tell me they wouldn’t change a thing because it often led to the birth of their next child. They say the womb is pretty fertile for another kid soon after miscarriage because the environment is just right.

What does God say about the loss of a baby? “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”- Psalm 34:18. God, we pray that you will draw near to these parents who are grieving the loss of their baby.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today praising You for your faithfulness and thanking You for the miracle of life. Lord, I ask You to wrap Your loving arms around moms who have experienced miscarriage and infancy loss. Help them to look past the pain and into the hope that is active in Your Word amen 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌

No, i am a 100% disabled veteran. Bad enough i qualify for SSDI as well. Yest i was a single parent most of that time taising a a small boy and two girls. Funny how during that time mothers snubbed me rudely even as i eatched their kids from school release until parents came home from work. I volunteered 3 days a week in my sons school. No mothers would help on those days. It was strange how the other two days had over 5 moms a day.

Ok, I am not sure where the half black/Asian guy is going, but I had not issues hanging out in the SGV back in the late 70's, when I went to Cal State LA. Maybe it was a Sundown city back in the first half of the 20th century, but I think he is hyping the race issue. I was all over Monterey Park, San Marino, South Pasadena, etc. The best Chinese restaurants outside of LA Chinatown was in Monterey Park. Was SGV perfect, no, but it was much better than the SFV or San Berdo County and definitely better than the OC. By the way, my kids are Creole/Vietnamese/Chinese.

She left the good husband for better sex. How about grow and be good at it together? Wish he finds a new partner he deserves and eventually be amazing in bed.

My mom, just like Phil's, was very open and honest with me about her miscarriages when I was a kid. She had one a couple years before I was born, I was born in 2001, then another one when I was around 4 or 5. The memory of that second one is faint, because I was so young, but I can remember the feeling, that sadness, it was potent. Whenever I asked what happened, especially with the miscarriage that happened when I was young, my mom put it so beautifully. Something along the lines of, "God just needed them back up there with him right now, he needs their help, their love, to help God with God things." "They are Angels watching over us now, isn't that awesome honey!" Yeah, my 5 year old self did think that was pretty awesome! We moved on, life went on, I remained an only child, until, at the age of 41, my mom got pregnant. Twins. Girls. I guess God made up for it, huh. I'm 22 now, they're 14.
